ESD Implementation Schedule

Published

Has the council asked for an Environmentally Sustainable Development (ESD) Implementation Schedule?

In some council permits prior to the occupation of any dwellings, an ESD Implementation Plan (or Schedule) that satisfies the City Council conditions must be submitted.

The ESD Implementation Schedule must ensure that all the measures have been implemented in accordance with the approved ESD Report.

The ESD Implementation Schedule can be requested for developments that have either a SDA or SMP completed and it demonstrates how the ESD is integrated into the built outcome.

The ESD Implementation Schedule includes different ESD categories, initiatives, requirements, and comments. All the information is added to the report to provide evidence that all measures specified in the Schedule have been implemented. Additionally, the city council may require a site visit to confirm that everything has been completed as stated.

The report covers categories including efficiency, insulation, lighting, flooring and much more.

Below is a sample of part of an ESD Implementation Schedule.
