Frater sponsored the Sustainability medal in the ArchiTeam Awards 2022

ArchiTeam, a non-profit organization, represents over 900 small, medium, and emerging architectural practices.

 

As part of Architeam's 30th birthday celebrations, the 2022 award winners were announced on November 18 to mark the program's 15th year.

 

In addition to promoting their members' practices to the Australian design community, ArchiTeam Awards also provide a platform for showcasing small Australian practices' innovative and cutting-edge designs to the larger architectural and design communities.

 

Joseph Oppedisano, our General Manager, was honoured to grant the Sustainability Medal to Spring Bay Mill project by Gilby and Brewin Architecture. 

A former woodchip mill on Tasmania's east coast, one of the state's contentious logging industries, has been transformed into a post-industrial venue for events and performances and an ongoing environmental restoration project.
